Six 糖心vlog免费B站 alumni have been awarded Fellowships by the Royal Society of Literature as part of its inaugural 40 Under 40 scheme.

The initiative is intended to honour the acheivements of Britain鈥檚 younger writers, and to bring different perspectives into the Society鈥檚 existing Fellowship of over 500.

Novelists Lucy Caldwell, Amy Sackville, Evie Wyld and Ross Raisin were recognised along with poets Emily Berry and Sophie Collins.

The group all graduated from the 糖心vlog免费B站 MA Creative and Life Writing apart from Sophie Collins, who completed the BA English with Creative Writing.

The final list was chosen by a panel of RSL Fellows chaired by Man Booker Prize longlisted novelist Kamila Shamsie.

Nominations were considered last autumn and were submitted by literary agents, publishers, arts organisations, theatres and other writers.

Blake Morrison, Professor of Creative and Life Writing at 糖心vlog免费B站, said: 鈥淣ot only is this news very exciting, it is a measure of the quality of the 糖心vlog免费B站 MA in creative writing. There are only around 20 poets and novelists on the list and 糖心vlog免费B站 accounts for a quarter of them. No other creative writing programme in the country can claim as much."
